The Story

Optimised for enduro bikes running 160-180mm travel. The new GRIP X2 damper, Kashima coated stanchions and KABOLT X Axle work together to improve sensitivity and the 38 Factory fork also has high and low speed damping adjustment for rebound and compression. GRIP X2 Damper

The new generation of GRIP dampers are more supportive than the previous versions. GRIP X2 is Fox's descent focused damper, paired with the stiff 38 chassis, the fork feels more precise and confidence inspiring in steep, rough descents. 

KABOLT X Axle

The 38 fork uses Fox's lightweight bolt through axle with pinch bolts to keep the lowers perfectly aligned, reducing friction. Fit the front wheel, tighten the axle, pull the brake and bounce the fork a few times, then tighten the pinch bolt.

Lower Leg Bypass Channels with Bleed Valves

Bypass channels allow air to move inside the fork as it moved through its travel. Bleed valves allow the rider to balance the fork pressure with atmospheric pressure. Both work together to improve small bump sensitivity.
