PRO 5 Rear eBike Hub Boost 148x12mm 6 Bolt

Fast rolling, quick engaging hubs with Hope's legendary reliability. Hope hubs have always been the gold standard for reliable mountain bike hubs, and the Pro 5 adds the fast engagement older versions missed out on compared to other brands.

The eBike specific version of the Pro 5 differs from the standard Pro 5 by having a stainless steel driver with 54 points of engagement. The freehub still has the same 6 pawls as the standard Pro 5 freehub, but they are not offset, so all 6 engage at the same time, rather than 3 at a time. Engagement is still quicker on this hub than the old 4 pawl Pro 4, which had 44 points of engagement.

Hope no longer offer a fast rolling road alternative to their mountain bike hub, the Pro 5 meets the requirements with new lower friction seals and pawls compared to the Pro 4. The new hub shell also accommodates larger bearings, again designed to reduce friction.

Available in more sizes than ever, and now with Straight Pull and Centrelock rotor options, Hope Pro 5 hubs are suitable for almost every type of bike.
