DTE 4 Season DWR Gloves

Wet weather gloves with more feel and feedback than a full on waterproof or thermal gloves. The DTE 4-season gloves are pre-curved for a comfortable riding fit, and the lack of a thermal or waterproof layer means the palm is low bulk for maximum feel and feedback.

Silicone grips on the middle finger and palm grip on wet days, and the outside of the thumb is a large sweat/snot wipe.

Using a DWR coating keeps spray and light rain at bay, without restricting breathability. We find DWR is preferable to full waterproofing in a lot of conditions; the DWR slows down the soaking enough that you can maintain some heat, and it cuts out wind chill. Full on waterproofing adds a membrane and thermal layers add padding. Both of these reduce feel and even the most breathable kit on the market sometimes has the boil-in-the-bag effect, where you get chilled by your own sweat from climbing when descending.  For riding on days when it's wet but not that cold, or riding on days after rain, DWR is often what we choose over waterproof.
