Maven Ultimate B1 Disc Brake

Maven's are SRAM's most powerful brakes, offering almost 50% more power than the Motive brakes, with enough power for heavy riders on downhill bikes or heavy ebikes.

The "Ultimate" version of the Maven adds caliper machining, carbon lever and titanium hardware to the Silver spec brakes. Confusingly, Maven Ultimates are silver in colour, and Maven Silvers are black in colour.

SRAM recommend HS2 rotors for the best heat management and most power. Centreline discs are the better choice if you don't need the full power and less weight is a priority.  20mm differences in disc sizes equate to roughly 14% differences in power.

Organic pads are included, these give the best initial bite and are quieter. Change to sintered pads for better performance in wet and muddy conditions.
